Making every penny count
Times are getting tougher in the third sector. Funding and donations are harder to secure and more is required from the funding that is given. Furthermore, leaders are under greater scrutiny as demands for transparency and accountability increase. The challenge for third sector leaders is not just to secure funds, but also to make better use of the funds that are available. Leaders must be prepared to think differently to achieve efficiencies while also enhancing, not destroying, capability.
KC Limited have prepared a report in which they examine the drivers for change and address three of the most critical areas organisations should be considering. These are:
1. Leadership: How clear is your direction and how well do your leaders engage with your staff in achieving aims and ambitions?
2. Performance measurement: What progress are you making towards your aims and ambitions and how do you know? How sure are you that the actions your people are taking today will deliver the results to which you aspire?
3. Removing waste: How well do you understand how your core services are delivered, and how do you continually improve them?
KC Limited can provide checklists to compare your organisation against best practice and give you the opportunity for a free health check to help prioritise areas for improvement and to "make every penny count".
